Last week, we focused on creating a "Sig file" (and the
all-important PRE-sig, to make sure that people *read* your
sig).  This spreads the word quietly (but surely and
effectively) about SiteSell products at the bottom of
*every* outgoing e-mail you send, day in and day out.

However, this week you are going to be more proactive about
delivering SiteSell's message (in particular, the SBI!
message).   And we'll focus on the easiest marketing that
exists on the face of this planet.

I am always amazed at how many people ignore the "low
hanging fruit."  Think about this...

We all know tens, perhaps hundreds, of friends, colleagues,
associates, relatives.  And here's the best news... they
almost all fit into *one* of our target markets...

Nice.  Short, sweet, and natural.  And note three more key
points...

1) Customize according to each specific person/situation. It
just takes one or two specific notes to make this unique and
specific for this person.

2) Cause a visit to the SBI! Web site to happen.

3) Finally, convert to a phone call or personal demo, where
you cover the next level of key points... the kind of small
business, some good specific ideas, etc.

Once you're talking on the phone or demonstrating Site Build
It! (if you own it), remember...

This is one-on-one PREselling to someone you know, *not*
hard-selling.  You could take the conversation in a thousand
different directions, but here are key points to cover...

o  know which kind of small business fits your friend...

o  have some good ideas what she could do (or in the example
   above, what the two of you could do together!)

o  let her know you're an affiliate, so to please use your 
   link.  You'll make your 25% commission, plus a 25%

o  of course, she *could* do exactly the same thing that you're 
   doing.  But your (and my) best recommendation is not to do

This would be much more powerful *if* you
owned SBI! and were in the process of
creating your own site it.  Apart from
helping you build your own business (whatever
it happens to be), it establishes you as a
real authority on the product, and
"credentializes" your recommendation.

Think about how much more *you* would
appreciate a recommendation from someone who
was actually using the product.  That's why

the circumstances of your friend/contact.
